What’s this movie called anyway?

The original working title was called “Lake House,” hence the yellow “LAKE” signs you see posted around town. But Loaded Gun Boston reports the name has been changed to “Grown Ups.”

Filming day 2: More fans turn out to see stars

Filming was in the front of the church today, so onlookers were not allowed up on the common or Town House lawn. There was a much bigger turnout than yesterday, but fans had to content themselves with views from across Main Street. There were glimpses of the stars to be had as they filmed in

Girls freshman lacrosse team remains undefeated

The Algonquin girls freshman lacrosse team beat out Medfield yesterday 9 to 5 to keep their perfect record in tact. They finish out their season this week with two games against Marlborough. Lacrosse dad Steve Prior sent in some photo’s of yesterday’s big game.

What did you think of the traffic downtown?

When I arrived downtown Monday morning at around 8:30 am, traffic wasn’t horrible. Main Street westbound seemed fine, as did Route 85. The worst of it was Main Street eastbound, where the line of cars snaked from Route 85 past Fay and down the hill. One of the police officers controlling traffic told me cars

Memorial Day parade and observances

The movie set may still be in place, and sod may cover part of the route, but that won’t stop the annual Memorial Day parade. Southborough will remember its veterans on Monday with a parade that will pass through the Rural Cemetery, Burnett Cemetery, Revolutionary War Cemetery, and the Civil War Memorial. The final stop
