What a weekend for Algonquin. On Saturday the boys lacrosse and girls lacrosse teams won their respective district titles in back-to-back matches at Foley Stadium. The same day the Algonquin girls rugby team captured the Massachusetts Youth Rugby Organization State Championship title. Then on Sunday, the underdog Algonquin baseball team staged a huge upset over top-ranked St. John’s to win the Central Division 1 title.

Public hearing on proposed zoning code changes – TONIGHT

For several years now a committee of volunteers has been working on revamping Southborough’s zoning code. They’ve considered everything from open space protection to multi-family housing and subdivisions to commercial development along Route 9. The process will culminate in a vote on the changes at a special town meeting this fall.
