The Friends of the Southborough Library are sponsoring another Drop in Art Workshop for kids this weekend. On Saturday, February 16, from 10:30 am – noon, kids are invited to make art at the Library.

As usual, Lanting Huang-Truong from the Bigelow Center for the Arts will lead the workshop. While the series is geared to the 5-9 year olds, siblings are always welcome.

This session:

Children will create beautiful works of textile art! Mediums they will use are oil pastels and watercolors.

Registration is not required.

Save the dates for more sessions coming up this spring:

  • March 23 – make a bird vessel using clay
  • April 6 – make a flamingo puppet
  • May 4 – Giraffe drawing and painting
