More small businesses you can support in Southborough

Above: Making an effort to shop local small businesses doesn’t have to be just one day per year. Local vendors and shops are selling all kinds of goods and services. (scroll to bottom for image credits*)

[Editor’s Note: To make it easier to find the latest list of Southborough Businesses to shop, I’m adding it under the Town Directory/Resources menu.]

Last week, I encouraged readers to support Small Business Saturday by shopping local. Since then, I was alerted about and recalled other businesses that I missed. Plus, I realized there were other categories of businesses worth sharing.

During these tough economic times, it’s more important than ever to support local businesses. So, I’m running an updated version of the post.

I’ve added to vendor categories, including confectioners, fitness, spas, fun workshops, and photography. (Not only can you use some of the personal services for yourself, but gift certificates often make great gifts.)

If I missed any relevant businesses, please post a comment or email mysouthborough@gmail.com. (This doesn’t include all business categories, such as business-to-business and other professional services. To find more Southborough businesses, you can try the Economic Development Committee’s online directory. You can also reference this pdf which I’m told is more updated, but doesn’t include many of the business-to-business services..)
