The temperature is warming up (37 degrees at last check), and ice is starting to melt off the trees. I haven’t ventured out to survey the town, but there are branches down in my neighborhood. We’re estimated to have received several inches of rainfall which, judging by the state of my basement, sounds about right.
I tried to get to National Grid’s storm center to see if there are any power outages in Southborough, but the site isn’t responding. I’m guessing they have a bit of a load issue going on at the moment.
What are things like in your neighborhood?
Update: Persistence pays off and I was finally able to get to National Grid’s site. As of 12:53 pm, 112,944 customers were without power in Worcester County, only 144 of those were in Southborough. The site does not say when power might be restored.
