What to do this weekend

This weekend isn’t quite as jam-packed as last weekend was, but there are still some great options. Here’s a summary. You’ll find all the details in the Southborough events calendar.

  • Southborough Historical Society’s Authors’ Night (Friday): Local authors will be at the Historical Museum to talk and sign copies of their books. A perfect option for the history buff on your holiday list.
  • Leeds Land Farm Crafts Open House (Saturday): Meet Southborough’s most famous llama and shop for handmade crafts like woolen hats, mittens, scarves, and rugs.
  • Drop & Shop sponsored by the Rec Department (Saturday & Sunday): Treat your kids to an afternoon of fun at the Arts Center while you treat yourself to some free time. Reservations required. See more details here.
  • Jason Spooner Trio & Emily Elbert at the Steeple Coffeehouse (Saturday): It’s a double bill at the Steeple Coffeehouse on Saturday night with the “unique and energetic” Jason Spooner Trio and the jazz-infused folk of Emily Elbert. In a special deal, Tomasso Trattoria is offering 20% off to Steeple Coffeehouse ticket holders. The offer is good for dinner on either Friday or Saturday night. When you make reservations, mention the Steeple Coffeehouse, and be sure to bring along your ticket receipt.
