If it’s a family-friendly party you’re after, you need travel no farther than Westborough. They’ll hold their annual Fourth of July Block Party on Friday from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. You can read more about it on The Boroughs Review blog.
You’ll find more ways to celebrate in this article in the Metrowest Daily News. And if you’re heading into Boston for the concert and fireworks on the Esplanade, note that the MBTA commuter rail will be running on a special schedule. On Sunday, July 4, they’ll run according to the Saturday schedule. On Monday, July 5 — the actual federal holiday for Independence Day — they’ll run according to the Sunday schedule.
