The Southboro Little League team is on its way to Bristol, CT for the Eastern Regional Tournament. Their first game is tomorrow. Even if you’re not a baseball fan, it’s hard not to be excited about Southborough’s boys of summer. Here are some ways you can support the team.
Go to a game!
The Friends of Southboro Youth Baseball and Southborough Recreation have teamed up to rent a coach bus to take fans to the game on Sunday against Vermont. The bus will leave Woodward at 2:00 pm for a 5:00 pm game, and is expected back home around 9:00 pm. There’s no cost, but you have to reserve a seat in advance by calling 508-229-4452.
Get your gear
Southboro Youth Baseball will be selling team t-shirts and hats at Dunkin’ Donuts on Friday morning. You can pre-order yours by sending email to sobo_SYBA@yahoo.com.
Turn on the TV
Two of Southboro’s games will be televised on NESN. Tune in on Tuesday at 1:00 pm for a game against Rhode Island, and again on Wednesday at 1:00 pm for a game against Connecticut.
