Finalist withdraws from assistant school superintendent search

TheDailyNorthborough.com reports William Collins, the sole finalist in the district’s search for an assistant superintendent, withdrew his name for consideration one day after doing a site visit at Algonquin.

“The purpose of the visit was to see if the position was a good fit for him as well as for us,” said Superintendent of Schools Charles Gobron. “Mr. Collins did call me on Thursday to thank all of us for our interest and our hospitality, but he decided to withdraw his name from consideration as a candidate for assistant superintendent.”

Gobron said the search to replace Assistant Superintendent Ewa Pytowska, who announced she will leave the district at the end of the school year, will continue. You can read more in this article by TheDailyNorthborough.com.
