The combined school committees earlier this week delivered their annual performance review of Superintendent Charles Gobron, and the report was glowing.
“Dr. Gobron is a skilled, motivated, hard-working and caring superintendent who supports and encourages the best in educators for the benefit of the students in our system,” members wrote in their evaluation. “He is a tireless advocate, often working many, many hours above and beyond a typical work week.”

Gobron’s contract is up for renewal this year, but was extended to January 2012 pending a decision by the Regional School Committee.
