It’s billed as the world’s largest exercise class, and yesterday Southborough students joined children across the globe in the All Children Exercise Simultaneously (ACES) event by getting outside and getting active.
Project ACES was started in 1989 as a way to promote proper health and fitness habits. Since then, millions of children from all over the world have participated. It’s held the first Wednesday of May each year at 10:00 am local time.
The rain held off long enough yesterday for kids in Southborough to get their exercise outside. School Nurse Dale Burgess sent along some photos from Finn where students walked around the school grounds and participated in several fitness activities.
Loved reading this. Thank you for joining in this worldwide event.
