Southborough gardeners will soon have another option for planting their crops. Boy Scouts from Troop 92 will be building a new community garden behind St. Anne’s Church, and they’re putting a call out to those who want to participate. Here’s the notice:
Boy Scout Troop 92 is building a community garden behind St. Anne’s Church at 12 Walker Lane. The garden will be constructed this month and ready for planting by Memorial Day weekend. To get organized, there will be a meeting to form a Community Garden Club. This meeting will be held in the church hall on Wednesday, May 18 at 7:00 pm. All those interested in participating in the Community Garden should plan on attending. It is requested that each Garden Club member contribute ten dollars to Troop 92 to cover the construction costs. Checks can be made out to Troop 92.
