Monday, September 19

  • Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am): This story time is for children age 2-5 years old and their parents or caregivers. We will read stories and do a craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required.

Tuesday, September 20

  • Preschool Story Time (10:30- 11:15 am): This story time is for children age 2-5 years old and their parents or caregivers. We will read stories and do a craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required.
  • LEGOS at the Library (3:45 – 5:00 pm): Children age 5 and up are invited to build with LEGOS at the Library. LEGOS and idea books will be provided. All LEGOS and LEGO creations must remain at the Library. Please register in advance at the Children’s Room desk or by calling 508-485-5031.

Wednesday, September 21

  • Preschool Story Time (10:30- 11:15 am): This story time is for children age 2-5 years old and their parents or caregivers. We will read stories and do a craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required.
  • Second & Third Grade Book Group (6:30 – 7:30 pm): Second and third graders will read a book each month and then meet for a discussion and activities based on the book. Pizza and soda provided by the Friends of the Library will be served. Please register, space is limited.
  • The Fay Memorial Library – a Perspective on Southborough History (7:00 – 8:30 pm): Nick Noble, Southborough’s Town Historian, will speak at the Library on early efforts to create a library here in town – influential families, dates and events. Join us for this enlightening talk, in honor of the library’s centennial – 100 years at 25 Main Street. No sign up required – bring a friend or neighbor!

Thursday, September 22

  • Baby and Toddler Time (11:00 – 11:30 am): This story time is for children age 0-2 years old and their parents or caregivers. Each week will include stories, music, and puppets. Drop-in, no registration necessary.
  • Optimal Nutrition for Children and Teens (7:00 – 8:00 pm): Learn practical advice about foods that can fuel your child for optimal performance from Southborough’s own Bet Colon, M.S., Nutrition Consultant and owner of Holistic Nutrition Services. Join us for this fun and informative presentation – bring a friend or neighbor! Please call 508-485-5031 or visit the Library to sign up.
  • Southborough Business Network Meeting (7:00 – 8:00 pm): The Southborough Business Network is a hard-working group of volunteers who plan to make the Library a viable learning place for the community – especially for business people. Join us for this planning meeting, and a recap of the successful Wegmans visit to the Library last month.
