Learn about Destination Imagination at an upcoming information session

For those of you with kids at Woodward, Neary, or Trottier, check out this message from the Southborough Recreation Department:

Southborough Recreation is very excited to offer the Destination Imagination (www.idodi.org) for the second year!!

The Southborough team came in 4th place among 9 Regional Teams last year and hope to surpass that this year!

Destination Imagination is an educational activity in which teams of students solve open ended challenges and present their solutions at Tournaments, DI is available across the US and in more than 30 countries, DI promotes three life long values: Creativity, Teamwork and Problem Solving. DI Challenge is a fun exercise that socially and intellectually activates students by promoting them to use creativity and teamwork to solve a problem.

There will be 3 informational meetings offered at the South Union Building where the Recreation Office is located. Please plan to attend one of the meetings if you or your child is interested in being a member of the 2011-2012 Team Challenge. Same information at all three sessions. you only need to attend one.

Monday, October 3 from 6 to 7:30 pm
Thursday, October 6 from 6 to 7:30 pm
Saturday, October 8 from 10 to 11:30 am

All details and information will be provided at the meeting. Pre-registration is NOT required. You do not need to call ahead to reserve a spot.
