Flags in Southborough and across the state are at half staff today in honor of Specialist Steven E. Gutowski who was killed last month in Afghanistan. The Plymouth native was with the 515th Engineer Company (Sapper) when he and two others were killed in an explosion. Gutowsky was 24 years old.
