Rec Department offers winter sports programs for kids and adults

The Southborough Recreation Department is sponsoring a number of winter programs for both kids and adults starting this month. Here is what’s on tap. For more information, or to sign up, visit the Rec Department website (southboroughrecreation.com).

Skating Lessons at St. Mark’s
For children ages 5 and up at all levels – beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Lessons take place on Sundays starting November 27. Children will be instructed for the development of basic skating skills that may be used for hockey or figure skating.

Men’s Ice Hockey
A non-competitive, no check, no slap shot game for all hockey enthusiasts. All skill levels are invited to play. The league will run November through Feburary on Sunday nights at St. Mark’s skating rink.

RAP Ski Program
Students at Woodward, Neary, and Trottier can sign up for the annaul ski program now through November 25. The after-school lessons start in January.
