Flags in Southborough and across the state are flying at half staff today in honor of Firefighter Jon D. Davies Sr. The 43-year-old Davies, a 17-year veteran of the Worcester Fire Department, was killed when part of a burning building collapsed on him last week. Davies had gone back into the building in search of a person who was believed to be trapped inside.
