Southborough police log (12/16/11 – 12/18/11): Burglar alarms and temper tantrums

Friday, December 16, 2011

  • 3:14 am – Officers investigated two suspicious motor vehicles parked at the 911 Field on Acre Bridge Road. Everything checked out o.k.
  • 8:27 am – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Sears Road residence.
  • 8:54 am – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Barn Lane residence.
  • 9:02 am – A medical was reported at a Newton Street business.
  • 10:38 am – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Wildwood Drive residence.
  • 12:10 pm – Officers investigated a suspicious male who was standing on the side of Route 9. The male party was an employee of a nearby business and checked out o.k.
  • 12:16 pm – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 12:48 pm – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Main Street residence.
  • 3:50 pm – A Bantry Road resident reported being locked out of their house. Officers responded and provided assistance to the resident.
  • 4:20 pm – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. There were no injuries reported at the scene of the accident.
  • 4:30 pm – A medical was reported at a John Matthews Road residence.
  • 9:46 pm – A Summit Road resident reported a suspicious person taking cell phone pictures of the area. Officers responded to the scene, but the individual had left the area.
  • 11:39 pm – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.

Saturday, December 17, 2011

  • 1:05 am – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 2:56 am – A Framingham man was arrested and charged with Operating Under the Influence of Alcohol, Speeding, Marked Lanes Violation, and a Stop Sign Violation.
  • 4:18 am – Officers investigated a roll-over accident with injuries on Turnpike Road. The accident is currently under investigation at this time.
  • 4:50 am – Westborough Police assisted Southborough Police by checking on a reported suspicious male walking down Route 9. (Southborough units were tied up with the previous motor vehicle accident). Westborough Police reported that the male party checked out o.k., and that they would be transporting him back to his home.
  • 11:13 am – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Main Street residence.
  • 12:02 pm – A Hudson woman was charged with Operating After License Suspension, Giving a False Name to a Police Officer, and was civilly cited for Failure to Notify the Registry of Motor Vehicles of an Address Change.
  • 2:26 pm – A well-being check was requested on a Cordaville Road resident. The resident checked out o.k.
  • 5:33 pm – Officers assisted a parent with a child throwing a temper tantrum in front of the Senior Center on Cordaville Road. The parties involved were able to work out their problems.
  • 8:34 pm – A medical was reported at a Walnut Drive residence.
  • 9:19 pm – A Main Street resident reported a suspicious male in their back yard. Officers responded to the residence, but were unable to locate anyone in the area.

  • 11:04 am – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Main Street.
  • 11:39 am – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 2:58 pm – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Cordaville Road.
  • 5:54 pm – Officers investigated a reported “road rage” incident on Turnpike Road. The incident is currently under investigation by the responding officer.
  • 9:56 pm – A Breakneck Hill Road resident was charged with Domestic Assault & Battery.
