Southborough police log (4/13/12 – 4/15/12): OUI’s and report of an attempted break in

Here’s the latest from the Southborough Police Department (via Facebook).

Friday, April 13

  • 1:04 am – ARRESTED: A Framingham man was arrested and charged with OUI- Alcohol and for violating the “Move Over Law”.
  • 11:19 am – A motorist from Milford, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle While Being Unlicensed. The motorist’s vehicle was towed from the scene by Ted’s Auto Body.
  • 11:24 am – ARRESTED: A Marlborough woman was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle After License Suspension (3rd Offense), No Inspection Sticker, and Providing a False Name to a Police Officer.
  • 2:45 pm – Officers investigated a report of a man bringing a canoe into the reservoir by Framingham Road. The responding officers were unable to locate anyone in the area.
  • 3:06 pm – Officers investigated a report of a suspicious female on White Bagley Road. The female had left the area prior to the responding officer’s arrival.
  • 3:46 pm – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 4:13 pm – An officer spoke with a resident that was interested in possibly obtaining a Restraining Order.
  • 4:37 pm – Officers spoke with a Cordaville Road resident about questions she had regarding a domestic issue.
  • 6:12 pm – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Deerfoot Road residence.
  • 7:23 pm – Officers received a report of a trash can in the roadway on Turnpike Road. The trash can was located and moved to the side of the road by the responding officer.
  • 8:21 pm – Officers investigated a report of solicitors in the area of Central Street. The solicitors had left the area prior to the responding officer’s arrival.
  • 8:33 pm – An officer on patrol reported that the “No Turn On Red” sign on Turnpike Road (RT 9 East) has been removed. Mass Highway was notified.
  • 9:53 pm – A resident of John Street reported a large number of vehicles parked in the area. An officer checked the area and reported that there was no disturbance, and emergency vehicles would be able to pass through the area.
  • 8:15 pm – A motorist from Northborough, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Leaving the Scene of an Accident Involving Property Damage.

Saturday, April 14, 2012

  • 1:16 am – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Cordaville Road business.
  • 2:19 am – ARRESTED: A Worcester man was arrested and charged with OUI- Drugs, Marked Lanes Violation, and Operating to Endanger. He was also civilly cited for possession of marijuana.
  • 5:57 am – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 10:21 am – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 12:06 pm – An item was found on Woodland Road, and is now in the department’s Lost & Found.
  • 12:38 pm – Officers responded to a Marlboro Road residence for a Domestic in progress. The incident resulted in a No Trespass Order being issued to a family member, and the individual was also asked to leave the residence. The responding officer is investigating further charges as well.
  • 3:02 pm – Officers spoke with a Lynbrook Road resident regarding a neighbor dispute.
  • 4:08 pm – Officers responded with the fire department to check on a report of a brush fire. The fire was eventually extinguished.
  • 5:47 pm – A Marlboro Road resident reported that two stray dogs (with no collars) showed up at her residence. The Animal Control Officer was notified of the call.
  • 6:15 pm – Southborough PD received a “BOLO” from Framingham for a suspicious male party that was asking for money in the parking lot of the Hess gas station (at the Southborough town line). Southborough Officers checked the area, but did not find the male party.
  • 7:16 pm – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 7:42 pm – A Framingham Road resident reported that an unknown, white male attempted to gain access to their home last night. The responding officer took a report of the incident, and will be investigating at this time.
  • 8:36 pm – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at an Eastbrook Farm Lane residence.

Sunday, April 15, 2012

  • 6:44 am – A motorist from Marlborough, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Being Licensed.
  • 8:41 am – A motorist from Framingham, MA was issued a Criminal Application for Speeding and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Being Licensed.
  • 11:34 am – A resident of Boston Road reported a suspicious vehicle had just pulled into their driveway. The responding officer was unable to locate the vehicle in the area.
  • 12:16 pm – A medical was reported at a Newton Street business.
  • 12:27 pm – A Parkerville Road resident reported loud motorcycles operating in the roadway.
  • 1:59 pm – A parking complaint on Richards Road was investigated.
  • 3:40 pm – ARRESTED: An Ashland man was arrested and charged with OUI- Alcohol (5th Offense) and Marked Lanes Violation.
  • 3:50 pm – A Clifford Street resident reported that there was a Coyote hanging around the area. The Animal Control Officer was notified.
  • 7:18 pm – A medical was reported at an Angelica Lane residence.
