Obituary: Kathryn A. (Healy) Cato, 52

Kathryn A. (Healy) Cato, 52, of Southborough died Friday, July 27, 2012, at home surrounded by her loving family.

She leaves behind her husband of 24 years Robert P. Cato. Three sons, Timothy Healy Cota and his fiance Kimberly Campbell of Marlborough; Daniel W. Cato of Southborough and Robert J. Cato of Southborough. Also leaves a brother Rev. Stephen M. Healy of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Halifax, MA and several nieces and nephews. Also leaves her companions Simba, Otto and Ziggy.

She was born in Arlington, daughter of the late Paul M. and Joanne K. (Luongo) Healy and has lived in Southborough for the past 17 years. She was a graduate of Barnstable High School. For the past 10 years she was a medical secretary at the Southborough Medical Group.

Most of all she loved and enjoyed being with family, especially at the “Cape House” in Hyannis, where they took longs walks on the beach and driving around antiquing in the surrounding towns. She loved to go out with her family and friends and try all the various seafood restaurants on the Cape.

Funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at 10 A.M. from the John P. Rowe Funeral Home, Inc., 57 Main St., Marlborough with a Mass at 11 A.M., celebrated by her brother the Rev. Stephen M. Healy, in St. Matthias Church, 409 Hemenway St., Marlborough. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery, Southborough. Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Attn: Matthew Kulke, M.D., Center for Gastrointestina: Oncology, 450 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA 02215-5450.
