Southborough police logs (3/22/13 – 3/27/13): Couple tries to flee the scene after traffic stop

A Framingham couple proved a handful for Southborough police after a routine traffic stop early Saturday morning. The man driving the car, who police say was under the influence of drugs, tried to get away on foot after being stopped by police (he didn’t get far), while his girlfriend hopped into the driver’s seat in her own attempt to leave the scene. Charges were filed against both.
