PHOTOS: Art in Bloom at the Southborough Library

If you haven’t made it over to the Southborough Library yet to check out the Southborough Gardeners’ Art in Bloom exhibit, you must. The Gardeners created floral arrangements inspired by the work of Algonquin student artists. You get to enjoy both the arrangements and the original art – it’s two exhibits in one!

The show runs through 5:00 pm on Saturday at the Southborough Public Library, and if these photos sent along by Gardener Nancy Vargas are any indication, it’s an impressive exhibit. (Click an image in the gallery below to enlarge.)

This is a very impressive exhibit! I loved it. There is some very good artwork and some particularly clever and stunning floral interpretations. I made a special trip after reading the story and seeing Nancy’s photos.

This was a wonderful showcase for stunning artwork by teenagers and flower arrangements by adults. Library Trustees are very pleased that the Gardeners chose the Library as the venue for this, and we look forward to future Art in Bloom events.
