MWDN: Southborough ZBA chairman to resign

The Metrowest Daily News reported late last week that Zoning Board of Appeals Chairman Matt Hurley will resign his post at the end of June.

In an email, Hurley, whose term wasn’t set to expire until 2015, said the decision was tough but was made in the best interest of his career and family.

Hurley, an attorney with Mintz Levin, said he has taken off additional responsibilities at work and will be traveling more. He said he also has a very busy family life with four kids at home.

Hurley has been a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals for five years and its chairman since September 2011. For more, read this article on Metrowest Daily News.
