At the Southborough Library this week (7/29/13-8/2/13): Rainforest animals and PS3 play

Each week this summer: The summer reading program Dig into Reading continues. In the Children’s Room there are raffles, scavenger hunts and other activities. 

Tuesday, July 30

  • Rainforest Animals (2:30 – 3:30 pm): “Creature Teachers” is coming to the library and bringing rainforest animals! Meet and learn about live animals that live in a rainforest. Best for age 4 and up. No registration necessary. Sponsored by the Friends of the Southborough Library.

Wednesday, July 31

  • Pajama Story Time (7:00 – 7:45 pm): Come to the library in your pajamas to hear stories! This event will be held outside on the lawn, weather permitting, so bring a blanket. (In inclement weather, it will be held in the Children’s Room.) All welcome and no registration is necessary.

Thursday, August 1

  • Drop In Craft Day (10:00 am – 5:00 pm): Stop by the Children’s Room anytime during the day and make a craft project to take home. A different craft will be featured each week. All ages welcome; no registration necessary.

Friday, August 2

  • PS3 Game Day (3:00 – 4:30 pm): Come and play games with your friends at the library!! We have 2 controllers. Bring your own; we can play 4 at a time for some of the games. Snacks and soda are donated by the Friends of the Southborough Library.
