Police logs (9/13/13-9/15/13): Youths attempt break-in, truck hits bridge, and frightening bangs

A burglary was reported for a Turnpike Road business, a business door was kicked in, and some OUI arrests were made.

Otherwise, most of the reported activity was already thwarted or had “negative findings”. (This includes youths who attempted to break into an abandoned house and loud gunshot like noises.)

Friday, September 13, 2013:

    • 0512 hrs- A motorist from Worcester was issued a Criminal Application for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked License and a Failed Inspection sticker.
    • 0924 hrs- A Framingham Road business owner reported that the rear door to his business had been kicked in. A check of the building and surrounding area revealed that nothing was missing or disturbed inside. The incident is still under investigation at this time.
    • 0945 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Cordaville Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
    • 1051 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Burnett Road residence.
    • 1126 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. Possible injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
    • 1134 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Sears Road residence.
    • 1231 hrs- A medical was reported at a Turnpike Road business.
    • 1312 hrs- An officer removed large rocks from the roadway on Nichols Street.
    • 1322 hrs- Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Boston Road residence.
    • 1655 hrs- Southborough officers assisted Northborough officers in a search for a missing, suicidal female. The female party was later located in Northborough.
    • 1740 hrs- Officers investigated a three car, motor vehicle accident on Willow Street. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.

  • 1900 hrs- Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from an Overlook Drive residence.
  • 2022 hrs- Officers responded to Teds Lane for a report of a suspicious vehicle driving slowly through the neighborhood. Responding officers reported back negative findings.
  • 2100 hrs- Officers investigated a noise complaint at a Darlene Drive residence.
  • 2130 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road.
  • 2130 hrs- Officers responded to a Cordaville Road residence to assist with a domestic issue.
  • 2217 hrs- Officers responded back to Darlene Drive for another noise complaint. Officers on scene reported back negative findings.
  • 2300 hrs- A medical was reported at a Cordaville Road residence.
  • 2313 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.

Saturday, September 14 2013:

  • 0827 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Boston Road.
  • 0943 hrs- An officer on a detail found two syringes on the side of the road on Oak Hill. The syringes were brought to the station and logged.
  • 1136 hrs- A box truck struck the bridge and became stuck on River Street. Officers responded to the scene; assisted the operator; and filed an accident report on the incident.
  • 1210 hrs- An abandoned motor vehicle was towed from the side of Framingham Road.
  • 1250 hrs- ARRESTED: A Marlborough man was arrested on an active arrest warrant out of Cambridge District Court.
  • 1310 hrs- Officers responded to a Turnpike Road business to investigate a report of a past Burglary to the business. The owner advised that some items were taken from the business. The incident is currently under investigation at this time.
  • 1408 hrs- Officers investigated an incident of Road Rage on Main Street.
  • 1620 hrs- Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Marlboro Road school.
  • 1610 hrs- An officer assisted a Breakneck Hill Road resident with a landlord/tenant dispute.
  • 1713 hrs- Officers investigated a report of four youths attempting to gain entry to an abandoned house off of Pine Hill Road. A neighbor reportedly scared the kids away from the area. Responding officers reported back negative findings.
  • 1808 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at an Oregon Road residence.
  • 2043 hrs- An officer took a report of an identity theft from a Cordaville Road resident.
  • 2244 hrs- Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.

Sunday, September 15, 2013:

  • 0054 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Presidential Drive residence.
  • 0116 hrs- ARRESTED: A Southborough man was charged with OUI Alcohol and Speeding.
  • 0238 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Presidential Drive residence.
  • 0324 hrs- ARRESTED: A Framingham man was charged with OUI Alcohol, Marked Lanes Violation, and Operating a Motor Vehicle while being Unlicensed.
  • 0635 hrs- Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Boston Road business.
  • 0746 hrs- Officers investigated a second burglar alarm at the Boston Road business.
  • 0850 hrs- Officers investigated a report of a possible domestic argument on Oak Hill Road. The responding officers reported back that the argument was verbal in nature.
  • 1107 hrs- Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road.
  • 1131 hrs- Officers investigated a suspicious motor vehicle on Sears Road.
  • 1136 hrs- Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Sunrise Drive residence.
  • 1830 hrs- A medical was reported at an Aspendwood Lane residence.
  • 2013 hrs- Officers investigated a report of loud bangs (possibly gunshots) coming from an area near a Marlboro Road residence. Officers checked the area and reported back negative findings.
  • 2018 hrs- Officers checked on a suspicious person outside of a Cordaville Road residence. The person was located and checked out ok.
  • 2321 hrs- A medical was reported at a Pearl Street residence.
