We all know the stereotypes about age and technology – a 3 year old can navigate an ipad better than a senior citizen.

The generalization is based on a kernel of truth. Children have grown up immersed in technology.

That is why town seniors are reaching out to high school students.

The Southborough Senior Center has scheduled two upcoming sessions for seniors to get help with their devices. The first is tomorrow.

Student volunteers from Algonquin Regional High School will be at the center on Wednesdays November 20 and December 18 from 2:15 – 3:30 pm.

Whether you’re laptop has been giving you funky error messages or you want to learn how to make better use of your tablet, students will do their best to help.

Technology Days

Please join a group of Algonquin students for an hour of technology assistance. These eager students will answer all of your questions about cellphones, iPads, laptops, e-readers and more. Please write

your questions down ahead of time so that everything can be answered. Work with a student from ARHS and get your technology problems resolved!
