It may feel like spring today, but winter isn’t over. Some in town have their fingers crossed for more snow by the end of the month.

Southborough Open Land Foundation has teamed up with Eastern Mountain Sports to sponsor a snow shoe clinic.

The clinic will take place at Beals Preserve on Saturday, February 1,  from 9:00 – 11:00 am.

Instruction and snow shoes will be provided by EMS at cost of $5.

Attendees must pre-register by Monday, January 27 to reserve a spot. (Perhaps sooner, as space is limited.) Email names and whether or not you will be bringing your own snow shoes to info@solf.org.

If you need need snow shoes provided, reserve them through EMS at 508-351-6660.

Clearly, this activity is weather dependent, but there is a back up plan. In the case of no snow – the public is invited to come walk the trails.
