At their December 17th meeting, the Board of Selectmen discussed the possibility of a meals tax. It’s not something currently scheduled for a vote, just something they may consider in future.

A vote is scheduled to decide if three religious holidays should be removed from the school calendar. The three holidays that would be eliminated are Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur and Good Friday.

The annual town census form should have arrived in your mailbox recently. This is your friendly reminder to fill it out and send it in. By law the town is required to create a street listing of residents each year to maintain an accurate voting list, among other things.
