The Southborough Education Foundation is getting ready to hold its big annual fundraising event – the Spelling Bee.

The 7th annual community event will take place the evening of Friday, February 28. They’ve already started getting students excited about the Spelling Bee through an art contest for the program cover.

Now they are reaching out to businesses and residents to help make the fundraiser a success by sponsoring teams, advertising in the program book or making donations.

Definition of “chifforobe”:

1. A piece of furniture with drawers on one side and hanging space on the other.
2. The winning word in last year’s Annual Town Spelling Bee.

The 7th Annual Southborough Education Foundation (SEF) Spelling Bee will take place on Friday, February 28th at 7:00 pm at the Trottier Middle School. Doors open at 6:00 pm to enter raffle drawings and to bid on silent auction items. This year’s Bee will once again feature teams from our schools, local businesses and community organizations. It’s an evening of fun for a great cause.

Local businesses and individuals are invited to help sponsor the event. Please see the sponsor form below for details. All proceeds go towards funding innovative educational programs in Southborough public schools.
