Learn and share about town heritage at the next Senior Center Breakfast Club.  On Friday, June 13 from 10:00 am to noon, seniors will explore the history of one of Southborough’s most prominent families.

Paul and Patrice Doucette, members of the Southborough Historical Society, will lead the presentation on the Burnett Family. The Burnetts founded Deerfoot Farms and the Joseph Burnett company.

In the 1800s, Joseph Burnett developed a world famous vanilla extract. He went on to purchase acreage in Southborough, which became the Deerfoot Farms Company famous for both dairy and pork products.

Share your stories or any memorabilia you may have. The Historical Society is looking for photos, especially color photos of milk trucks.

Please call and sign-up to attend this event (508) 229-4453.

A donation of six dollars for Friends of COA members and $10 for nonmembers is suggested.
