This winter, I alerted nature-loving readers to a beautiful blog, Things with Wings.

The site features Dawn Puliafiaco’s lovely photos from her nature walks. Southborough’s open spaces are among her frequent haunts.

This Saturday, Dawn will help residents enjoy some of that open space.

Dawn is helping the Open Space Preservation Commission lead a one-hour tour at Breakneck Hill. She hopes to point out butterflies, birds, and native plants along the walk.

Hikers are encouraged to bring binoculars and dress appropriately to protect themselves from ticks and poison ivy.

The walk will be held rain or shine, on Saturday, June 14 from 12:00 – 1:00 pm.

Meet at the trailhead parking area. (For a trail map with parking, click here.)
