The week in government: Voting on Park Central; Community Preservation hearing on priorities; and Transfer Station options explored

More than a dozen committees are already scheduled to meet this week.

The biggest turnout will likely be for Zoning Board of Appeals. The board has previously indicated they expect to vote on both controversial Park Central projects this Wednesday night.

On the 4th the Community Preservation Committee is inviting residents to their annual public hearing. They are asking people to “come with your specific project ideas and overall needs”. Anyone who can’t attend is encouraged to “email your CPC project ideas to southborocpc@gmail.com.”

Other highlights include prioritizing Transfer Station models and changing the Building Department’s permit fees.

All these meetings are open to the public, so you’re welcome to stop on by. Be aware that changes to the meeting schedule are known to happen throughout the week. For a complete list of meetings, visit the town website.
