Friday, February 13, 2015:

  • Legislative Breakfast (8:00 am – 9:00 am) @ Southborough Library: Join Jamie Eldridge, Carolyn Dykema, and Kate Hogan for a morning that celebrates libraries across the Commonwealth and the politicians that support them. Learn more about the issues facing library cuts statewide and get more involved with library advocacy. Representatives from the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, Massachusetts Library System, and the Massachusetts Library Association will also speak about the state of libraries throughout the state. Southborough Library’s Board of Trustees and The Friends of the Southborough Library will also speak about their contributions and support of our institution. Saturday, February 14, 2015:

  • Saturdays at Fay – Puppet Show (10:00 am – 11:00 am) @ Fay’s Primary School, 25 Middle Road: Saturdays at Fay is a series of free Saturday morning programs designed for children ages 2-8 along with their parents. This month’s program will feature The Frog Prince Puppet Show Our friends at Pumpernickel Puppets will perform a puppet show based on the Frog Prince fairy tale. A demonstration period will follow the performance to give the audience some insight into what happens behind the scenes. Registration opens Monday, January 26. The program will be followed by a complimentary snack. Fay’s Primary School is located near the intersection of Routes 30 & 85. Please use the East Entrance at 25 Middle Road for access and parking. Space is limited so please register online at www.fayschool.org/saturdays.
  • Valentine’s Day Party (10:30 am – 12:00 pm) @ Southborough Library, Children’s room: It’s time for the annual Valentine’s Day Party! All children are invited to come to the Library for Valentine fun! There will be crafts, games and cookie decorating! No registration is required.
