Chestnut Hill Farm open event – Saturday, June 6

Chestnut Hill Farm is holding its first “Meet the Farmer” event this Saturday. The public has a chance to not only meet the farmers, but some cute kids as well. (As in baby goats.)

From 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, the farm will hold a meet and greet with new manager Desiree Robinson-DuBois. It’s a chance to ask questions about the farm and its new Community Supported Agriculture program. (If you missed the earlier announcement about the farm’s CSA, click here.)

There will be short tours of their progress and introductions to the farm crew. Robinson-Dubois also promises to have some of the farm’s goats and their babies “available for petting and general adoration.”

Attendees are asked to park in the public access parking area just past the farm and walk up the mown path to the road and CSA barn. (Look for the signs.)
