Next week, the Southborough Library is hosting an Author Night. This one is about more than the author’s experiences writing the book. Author Peter Zheutlin will be seeking to raise awareness for his cause – rescue dogs “on the last hope highway”.

Zheutlin’s talk will be followed by a presentation from the Hopkinton rescue society, Baypath:

Please join us for an evening with Peter Zheutlin, author of the upcoming book Rescue Road: One Man, Thirty Thousand Dogs, and a Million Miles on the Last Hope Highway.

Peter will discuss the life-changing experience that led him to write the book and share stories from the thousands of miles he traveled to learn about the plight of millions of lost, neglected and abandoned dogs and the selfless people who work to find them “forever” homes.

Peter’s talk will be directly followed by a presentation from The Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton, a local rescue animal agency. Event takes place on October 29 at 7:00 PM.
