Selectmen Paul Cimino underwent an unexpected quadruple bypass surgery on Friday.
Board of Selectman Chair John Rooney opened last night’s meeting with the announcement. Rooney said that he’s been speaking regularly with Cimino who “is well on the road to recovery” and is “his typical self”.
Cimino is a patient at Brigham & Women’s hospital. Rooney expects the selectman to be discharged today.
