This week in sports: Winter sports getting a pre-season start

Fall sports finished up last week. That means it’s time for the winter season to begin.

Before I list the (few) ARHS varsity events on tap for this week, here’s the final wrap up of the Fall post-season.

Algonquin Cross Country competed in states on November 19th. The sole runner from the Boys team, Noah Brazer, ranked 69 out of 177. The Girls team’s Tess Reyes ranked 26 out of 164. The team placed 16 out of 19.

Thanksgiving was the final hurrah for T-Hawks football. They went out on a high note with a 35-14 win at Westborough.
