Kids recreation fun over the holidays: Hoops Clinic and Photo Workshop

Southborough Recreation is promoting two programs taking place over Winter Breaks for two different kinds of shooting – hoops and photos.

Holiday Hoops Clinic is a 5 day program for Grades 4 – 8 girls and boys. The clinic takes place Monday, December 26 – Fri. December 30 from 9:00 am – noon at Trottier School’s gym.

Game Time Training instructors will:

spend the week focusing on ball handling, shooting and improving player’s basketball IQ. There will be surprise guest speakers, lots of scrimmaging and contests to ensure all players have FUN during the break!

Photo Fun Workshop is a one day program on Wednesday, December 28 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the Arts Center, 21 Highland Street. 2nd to 5th graders will:

be photographing the lovely model and dancer Maddie Murray! Maddie will be leaping, spinning, dancing, and posing. There will also be plenty of helpful guidance and suggestions to enhance your passion for artful photography.

At the end of the workshop, children will email their favorite picture to Ms. Chelsea for a take home photograph! Photographs can be picked up at the Recreation Department, approximately one week after the workshop.

The cost of $35 pp includes material fees. Participants need to bring their own cameras. All kinds are welcome (Iphone, Ipad, digital, compact)
