Winter hikes and/or snowshoeing; plus cross country skiing for senior Trailblazers

The Southborough Senior Center’s Trailblazers are planning more events this winter. If Jack Frost helps out, seniors could enjoy snowshoeing. If snow doesn’t accumulate, winter hiking will keep seniors active. Meanwhile, snow making machines have Trailblazers optimistic that Cross Country Skiing will take place this winter.

For Cross Country Skiing, the Trailblazers are seeking a discounted group rate. The event is planned for February 2nd, but requires pre-registration by January 19th.

Four dates are scheduled for snowshoeing/hikes. Participants will meet at the Senior Center and carpool to each site. There are only 4-5 pairs of snowshoes available to borrow – so sign up quickly.
