MFA brings art & learning to the Library Saturday: Animals in Art (ages 3-6), Ancient Egypt (8-12)

This Saturday, the Southborough Library is bringing in educators from the Museum of Fine Arts. The MFA teachers will talk to children about art and guide them in a project.

There are two programs based on children’s ages, grouped by 3-6 year olds and 8-12 year olds.

Each program is free, thanks to a sponsorship by the Southborough Community Fund. But space is limited and pre-registration is required.

Animals in Art
Saturday, March 4, 2:00 – 3:00 pm

This Museum of Fine Arts is workshop is for children ages 3-6 years old.

Children will learn about animals in art. The program consists of a story, a lesson and an art project.

Ancient Egypt
Saturday, March 4, 3:00 – 4:00 pm

This Museum of Fine Arts is workshop is for children ages 8-12 years old

The program is about ancient Egypt. There will be a story, lesson and an art project.
