  • Young Scientists (11:30 am – 12:30 pm) @ Southborough Library, Eaton Meeting Room: Free STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) program for kids age 3-5. Must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver (Siblings are welcome.) Registration is required. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Free Training on Narcan (5:00 – 7:00 pm) @ Trinity Church, 26 Main St., Northborough: Free Training on Narcan for reversing overdose and Hidden Signs of opioid abuse every 10-15 minutes. Participants will be trained to identify an opioid overdose and learn how to reverse it using Narcan. At the same event, they can learn how to identify signs of substance abuse before an overdose takes place. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Nutrition Demo: Sweet Potatoes & More! (11:30 am – 11:30 am) @ Southborough Senior Center: Free cooking demo. Karen White, a registered dietitian, teaches seniors how to eat better. Creative recipes with sweet potatoes (in soup and hummus, mashed with interesting flavors, and even black bean brownies) No Charge, but limited seating. So pre-register by calling 508-229-4453.

    SOLF Annual Meeting & Bay Circuit Trail video journal (7:00 pm) @ Community House, 28 Main St: Join the Southborough Open Land Foundation’s Annual Meeting where Dan & Marilyn Brielmann of e-Awakening along with Alan French will be your virtual guides taking you along the Bay Circuit Trail by video journal. The meeting is free and open to the public, you need not be a member of SOLF to attend. For more details, see flyer right.

  • Southborough Genealogy Club (7:00 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Library: This is an informal group meeting where you can learn and share tips about resources for researching family history. This event is free and open to the public. Bring your laptop and join in!

  • Worcester Art Museum Bus Trip (9:30 am – 2:30 pm) @ : (Note: requires pre-registration and may be full.) Friends of COA members only – suggested donation $10 Enjoy a 1 hour highlights tour of the museum’s permanent collection. Then you are free to view other exhibits and enjoy a lunch or snack at the cafe before the bus back to the center.
