We wanted to send a quick email on a brief burst of snow along with a potential Flash Freeze that will likely impact the Friday morning rush hour. Below is a brief outline on expectations.

  • Rain changes to a brief burst of snow between 10 pm and 2 am across western/central MA and northern CT. Snow ends across this region by 7 am.
  • Rain changes to a brief burst between 2 and 5 am across eastern MA/RI. Snow should end in this region by 10 am.
  • Snow accumulations on the order of 1-2″ are possible but localized 3-4″ amounts can not be ruled out.
  • Greatest concern is a accumulating snow along with a flash freeze near the morning commute as temperatures will be falling into the 20s.
