Police seek help IDing package thief

Above: Police shared on Facebook the link to this video capturing the alleged theft of packages from a Southborough resident’s doorstep.

Yesterday, the Southborough Police issued a request for help on Facebook. The press release describes a person accused of stealing Amazon packages. (I’m guessing by the contents stolen that it wasn’t an “inside job”):

The Southborough Police are looking for the public’s help in identifying the individual in the attached video.

On February 13, 2018 and individual with a thin build wearing all black and ski goggles around their neck stole several packages from a residence in Southborough, MA.

The individual appears to be driving a 2017 or 2018 black Honda CRV. The items that were stolen were a paddle insect zapper, and detergent that had just been delivered by Amazon.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Southborough police detective unit.

Detective Keith A. Nichols #84
Southborough Police Department.

If you have information to share, please call the SPD at 508-485-2121 and ask for Detective Nichols. If you’re having trouble viewing the above video, you can also pull it up here.

This is such a disgrace; this is fast becoming a problem in all communities. This hits down home for me; I’m a neighbor just a few properties away.
