Musical Cafe/Cabaret on May 2nd at the Senior Center

The Southborough Senior Center just sent out their bi-monthly newsletter. There’s one item worth a quick alert on, since it’s coming up quickly.

On Wednesday, May 2nd, the center will be hosting another Cabaret/Musical Cafe run by Jim and Linda Duncan. As usual, it will feature piano music, singing, dancing, entertainment and “Linda’s jokes”.

This month the lunch is turkey with all of the fixings at noon followed by the entertainment at 12:30 pm.

Dance to a polka or waltz, sing-along with some old favorites (words provided), listen to several soloists singing your favorite songs, or just sit-back and enjoy the music. Seating will probably be limited to 80, so make your reservations early. If you are interested in singing a solo, please contact Jim at Jamesfduncan@msn.com.

The suggested donation is $6. Pre-registration is required. Sign up at the front desk or call (508) 229-4453.

It’s a semi-regular event at the center. If you haven’t been to one, you can get a feel for it through the video clip the center shared on Facebook from last month’s lunch:
