Reminder: Food Truck Wednesdays tonight (and next two weeks)

Last Wednesday, the Southborough Rotary Club turned St. Mark’s “Front Meadow” into a destination for foodies. It was a success. Good thing, since the festival will be held weekly through June 13th. (Scroll down to see a video of the fun.)

Tonight looks to be another beautiful one for it.

The “Food Truck Festival” runs from 3:00 – 7:00 pm. Each of the Wednesdays, the festival will feature four food trucks offering a variety of savory options, plus a dessert truck. The dinner options will vary by week. (The dessert is ice cream, but it’s a creamery truck, not a stereotypical “ice cream truck”.)

On deck for tonight are:

  • DogFather
  • Pangea Cuisine
  • Anzios Brick Oven Pizza
  • Travilin Bones
  • Trombetta’s Ice Cream

Note: No parking will be allowed on Route 30 in front of the Community House. You can find parking on Route 85, North of Route 30, and at the Southborough Library.

There will be some tables and chairs available on the field. Or bring your blankets for a picnic on the meadow.

The festival is sponsored by the Southborough Rotary Club as a feel good, community event.*

Here’s a look at the first week of the festival, thanks to Southborough Access Media:

Upcoming offerings include the following:**

June 6

  • DogFather
  • Traveling Bones
  • Teddy’s Lunch Box
  • Trombetta’s Ice Cream

June 13

  • Anzios Brick Oven
  • Pangea Cuisine
  • Teddy’s Lunch Box
  • Trombetta’s Ice Cream

*Rotary isn’t making any money directly off of the food vendors or customers. They do hope to sell some sponsorships in support of their programs for youth (RYLA leadership program and their College Scholarships).

**MacsWraps won’t be participating as originally expected. I don’t have word yet on who will be replacing them on June 6th and 13th.
