If you have business at the Town House today, you should note that it’s closing at 11:15 am. Since it’s a Friday, that’s only 45 minutes early. But Town Clerk Jim Hegarty wanted me to know that his office is staying open until noon. That’s specifically to deal with residents who may be planning to come in for last minute Transfer Station permit stickers.
The 2018 stickers expired on the 15th. That means that you need a new one if you plan to use the station on Saturday. Click here for a reminder of this year’s rules and fees, etc.
As for the early closing, it’s to hold an employee appreciation function for staff.
