Finn Fall FestivalFinn Fall Festival (5:00 – 7:00 pm) @ Finn School: Finn SOS annual fundraiser – includes carnival games, pizza, raffles, bake sale, book sale and more. Admission fee of $7 per person (max = $25 per family) – includes 1 slice of pizza and a drink. (Additional slices sold at $1 per slice) For details, see event flyer.

Barn-to-Run-at-Chestnut-Hill-Farm logoBarn to Run at Chestnut Hill Farm (9:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: Part of the “Barn to Run Trail Race” series at area farms. The CHF hosted event features 3.4 mile and 5 mile options on trails through the farm and Beals Preserve. Post-race festivities include beer courtesy of the ZeLUS Beer Company, activities for kids, barnyard visits, awards, giveaways and more. Registration costs $30-$35 per runner. Fay-market logoFay School Farmer’s Market (10:00 am – 1:00 pm) @ Harlow Circle at Fay School, 23 Middle Rd: Come and shop for local produce, prepared food, and handmade goods by local vendors and Fay School faculty and staff. This week’s kids activities is themed around heroes, including touch-a-truck. For more details, see dedicated post.

Saturday-Chess-poster-thumb bChess program at Library (2:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: The Southborough Library is excited to pilot a “Let’s Play!” Saturday Chess program beginning September 8, 2018. This program is geared toward players ages 12+ who are interested in learning beginner chess skills. For details, see dedicated post. (Expect the session to take place upstairs – since downstairs is still closed.)

Art-on-the-TrailsPoetry Walk (4:00 – 6:00 pm) @ Beals Preserve, meet at the Main Entrance kiosk: A Poetry walk will celebrate the closing of this summer’s Art on the Trails exhibit. Heary poetry read aloud at the art installations that inspired them. For details, see dedicated post.
