As promised, Southborough Kindergroup released details on its Easter Scavenger Hunt planned for this Saturday. On April 3rd, from 9:00 am to noon, families will be able to hunt down seven “cut-out bunnies” around town. Anyone who finds them all before the deadline will have a chance at winning the “Golden Egg Raffle Basket”.

Golden Egg Raffle Basket prizeTo be entered in the raffle, participants can either

return your clue sheet to the Public Safety Building between 11-12 or take a picture of your completed sheet and email it to kindergroupraffle@gmail.com by 12pm on April 3rd.

While the second option may be more convenient, there’s a special reason to use the first option.

Easter Bunny greetings (cropped from SFD Facebook)From 11:00 am to noon, the Easter Bunny will be outside the Public Safety Building. Whether or not they take part in the hunt, families are invited to drive by to wave to the special visitor.

The SFD posted instructions on Facebook for visitors:

To be safe, the Easter Bunny along with the Fire and Police Chiefs, are asking visitors to stay in their cars. Please proceed through the driveway at Woodward School located at 28 Cordaville Road, drive slowly, and exit out through the driveway at the Public Safety Building. The Bunny will be very busy getting ready for Easter, so he has decided to not give out candy or Easter Eggs.

In addition to providing Southborough families with some Easter fun, Kindergroup is using the event to support the Southborough Food Pantry. Participants are encouraged to donate items. The drop off location is one of the clues. (You can check the Pantry’s needs list with specified cereals here.)

The weekend’s fun is sponsored by Middlesex Savings Bank and made possible by Kindergroup volunteers. (To learn more about Southborough Kindergroup, click here.)
