SPD looking for driver accused of harassing girl

This week, the Southborough Police Department posted an alert to Facebook. It shared that a “juvenile female” reported being harassed as she was jogging in town.

Posted as a safety alert, the SPD is also seeking assistance with anyone who has information on similar incidents or that could help ID the driver:

Yesterday afternoon, Southborough Officers investigated a harassment report from a juvenile female, who was jogging in the area of Parkerville Road by Finn School. The female jogger reported being approached by a dark-skinned male (30-40 years old with a “buzz cut”, no facial hair, and freckles on his face) in a dark-colored, four-door SUV with Massachusetts license plates.

The male allegedly made inappropriate comments to the juvenile female, and then left the area when the female told him to leave and ran from the immediate area. The vehicle was last seen heading southbound on Parkerville Road, heading towards Southville Road.

Responding officers checked the area and a BOLO was put out to surrounding towns with the suspect’s information. SPD is currently looking for assistance with any identification or similar incidents involving this individual. Please contact Lt. Newell or Det. Neivert at (508) 485-2121.
