Sign up for October 13th Flu Clinic (Updated)

Wear short sleeves on October 13th. The Board of Health is holding its annual Flu Clinic for teens, adults and employees.

In less than a month, the Town of Southborough will be holding flu vaccination clinics for residents 12 years and older. Mark your calendars, and locate your insurance ID cards.

Two sessions will be held on Wednesday, October 13th. Both sessions will be held at the Senior Center, 9 Cordaville Road. Be sure to wear something short sleeved or sleeveless and a face mask.

The Board of Health is asking residents to sign up for a time slot in advance. Unfortunately, it’s one link for both groups, so please pay attention to which of the time slots you should be choosing from:

  • Seniors, ages 65+ should ideally attend from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm. (High dose vaccines will be available for this age group.)
  • 1:30 – 4:30 pm is for anyone ages 12+.

Updated (9/23/21 10:22 am): The Town’s website included some additional details worth sharing:

  • Be sure to select the “Flu Vaccine”. (BOH is not currently offering a Covid vaccine clinic.)
  • For those questioning getting a shot, BOH urges, “We encourage everyone to get their flu shot this year to protect from the influenza virus and the complications that can come with it. If you have questions about the flu vaccine or why you should get it, you can contact the Board of Health at 508-281-8983.”
